GENERAL ISSUES

Installing
Depending on user rights, Administrator privileges may be required to properly install our games on Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista.
Slow or Jerky gameplay?
Almost all current video cards from the past several years are supported by our games, however if you are experiencing slow or jerky gameplay, please check you have the latest video drivers for your video card & operating system installed and your PC meets the required system specification for the game you're trying to play.
No Sound?
In the game, go to the Options page, check the Music Volume option to make sure that it is not set to lowest setting. Check your computer's sound is not set to Mute. If you use speakers to listen to audio from your computer, check they are switched on and properly connected.
Vista (all versions)
All our games install and run fine under Windows Vista (32 & 64bit versions). However, the wrong video card driver under Vista can result in slow or jerky gameplay/performance. If you experience this, please make sure that you have the latest Vista video driver for your computer installed.
Crashes or Freezing!
Whilst every effort has been made to make our games as compatibale as possible, sometimes incompatibilities between computer subsystems can cause or lead to game crashes. Please make sure you have the latest video and audio drivers for your computer installed. Most video and audio card manufacturers (this includes on-board solutions) release updated drivers every 6-12 months to fix issues and reduce possible future incompatibilities.
